Kidderminster, Bridge 17 Sainsbury's Handy moorings almost directly outside entrance, very convenient for heavy things. If you prefer Tesco's they also have their own moorings in the town centre - also there's Aldi, Iceland and probably other supermarkets in town. July 2007 (CA)
Kinver, Bridge 29 Butchers, Bakers, 2 small supermarkets There's enough shops to get what you want although it's a 10 minute walk back to the boat. July 2007 (CA)

Good & Bad Moorings
Tixall Wide

Popular moorings Managed to get the last mooring spot as it is very popular. Sitting in the boat with nesting swans, coots and ducks. A lovely spot, lots of birds, very tranquil. May 2005 (CH) 
Arrived at about 5pm and found the last free mooring in the middle of the Wide. A beautiful position with resident swans and two cygnets doing the rounds of the boats begging for bread. June 2007 (CH)
Navigation Notes
Bratch locks   In the winter you can pass through them 24/7. In the summer they are padlocked except when the lock keeper is on duty. He finishes at 20:00 so the last passage must commence by 19:40.  July 2007 (CA)
